This beautiful converted detached stone & slate barn offering a detached cottage with exposed beams and stonework, and surrounded by unspoilt Cornish counryside.It stands about 100 yards from the main farmhouse in 77 acres of pasture, which is down to cattle and horses, offering complete privacy and seclusion. The picturesque fishing village of Padstow is about 6 miles with good selection of eating places quaint little streets and attractive harbour.Fishing and boat trips leave from here, along with watersports activities and it is one of the stop off points on the Camel estuary cycle trail (bikes for hire). On the other side of the estuary is Rock much favoured for its less hectic pace, good sailing, beach and golf course. At the head of the estuary is the market town of Wadebridge with its good variety of interesting shops and restaurants. There are many excellent beaches including "The Severn bays", family fun at Crealys Adventure Park, The Eden Project, surfing beaches at Newquay and King Arthurs Tintagel, golf at Trevose and many more great days out for the whole family. Owl Barn is approached along 250 yards of private driveway.

Accommodation

Stable doors lead into the fitted kitchen which has an electric cooker, microwave, dishwasher, automatic washing machine and fridge/freezer. A few steps lead up to the light, spacious lounge/diner which has french doors onto a gravel area. There is also a woodburning stove to add extra cosiness, a stereo unit and video. Stairs lead to two pretty bedrooms, one a twin bedded room and the other a double with brass bed. There is a bathroom/toilet and a separate downstairs toilet.
